Hope
its not Dengue!!!!
The total population alone in Delhi is
estimated to be around 22.3 million, and if we add the NCR to it then it goes up
to a humungous number of 34 million.
But every year, post monsoon, this
Capital of the seventh-largest and most populated country, Delhi, becomes the
breeding ground of mosquitoes which spread Many serious and even life-threatening
diseases like Malaria, Chikungunya, and Dengue.
There are many aspects to which we Delhiites
can blame this situation to like, bad drainage system, water logged roads, heaps of garbage, over
population, high stress levels, pollution to name a few, but this dialogue is
not about WHO and WHY rather it’s about HOW, so let’s start with HOW can we ensure
self and our family’s protection from this upcoming season of Mosquito threat.
Protecting yourself requires a three-part
strategy: preventing mosquito
bites, stopping mosquito
breeding, and boosting
your immunity
First things first, preventing
yourself from mosquito bites is absolutely essential.
For that, use mosquito repellents on your skin or clothes and wear, as much as
possible, full-coverage clothes.
Keep your place, whether work or home, clean and dry. Most importantly, use a mosquito repellent. In this mosquito season, we need protection against this mosquito breeding threat around the clock.
Next is to
boost your immunity.
Diseases like dengue weaken
platelets; strong immunity helps in fast recovery.
Adding Giloy, tulsi, amla, turmeric, and
ginger in your daily diet helps boost immunity, also chyawanprash and warm
herbal teas or kadha can keep you protected even in high risk environment.
The next step is to ensure that you do
not have any kind of water collected in your house, mosquitoes breed in clean stagnant water even
in a small bottle cap, be vigilant and aware. Ensure the
same for your surroundings. Any waterlogging should be reported to the
authority.
Ask your local authority to do regular fumigation as that really helps to control mosquito breeding.
Knowing the early Symptoms and acting fast can
also help you to control the disease faster and with less complications. If you
have:
- High fever
- Joint pain
- Rashes
- Headaches or vomiting Don’t
wait. See a doctor immediately — early care saves lives in
dengue, malaria, and chikungunya.
Also there are few Natural Remedies that
helps in Symptom Relief, Fast Recovery, and Boosting Immunity. Important to note
that these remedies do not replace hospitalization or emergency care.

fevers. It helps in boosting immunity, reducing fever, and detoxifying the
blood. It is also believed to increase platelet count in dengue

remedy believed to help improve platelet count. It contains enzymes like papain
that support liver function and blood health.
